Icaros Methodology

Icaros utilizes a combination of leading-edge thermal imaging sensors, aerial platforms with GPS/IMU, and geospatial imagery processing to provide our unique aerial thermography mapping. To get precise resulting thermal orthomosaics, we fly missions under optimal conditions, collecting RGB imagery during the daytime and thermal imagery at night, minimizing solar loading and reflection.  We use airborne GPS and IMU to optimize image collection and for image geopositioning, providing our customers with geospatially-accurate maps for precise measurements and locations.  Icaros Photogrammetric Suite (IPS) of image processing software creates large-area, wide seamless orthomosaics, and fuses RGB and thermal image data for use in GIS and CAD software application. of large areas for easy reporting and strong analytic tools.
